Establish WSU as a regional networking center for teachers.

Collaborate with the College of Education to ensure that preservice teacher training in sciences and mathematics is consistent with National Science Education Standards, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the state of Washington Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALRs) in Science.

Excite eighth through tenth grade students through the Cougar Summer Science Camp and other summer science camps.

Continue to design and implement innovative graduate degree programs for elementary, middle and high school science teachers.
