Labs
$20 PER SEMESTER FEE--INCLUDES PRINTING
Location: Abelson Hall, Room 227
The SLIC Computer Labs consist mainly of 36 PC and 22 Macintosh
microcomputer systems. Software includes Microsoft Office 97 Professional
(Windows) and Microsoft Office 4.2.1 (Macintosh). Internet access
(e.g., for web browsing and email) and laser printing capability
are available from these systems.
Students
enrolled in courses offered by departments (see list below) within
the College of Sciences are eligible to use these systems for a
nominal fee of $20 per semester. Payment of this fee is performed
by use of ones Cougar Account. (If you do not have an account
already, you may establish one at registration time (under Optional
Services) or in person at the office in the Compton Union Building
(CUB) on the first floor near the Information Desk.) When you have deposited
enough money into your account, stop by SLIC with your Cougar Card
so that your account can be charged. You will then be given a pass.
